Mirtos

Mirtos is a small village on the south coast of eastern Crete, located 14 km west of Ierapetra. It is surrounded by olive groves, citrus groves, and some greenhouses, and the Kryopotamos river flows through the valley in winter.

The village has a population of about 500 people, and it is a popular destination for tourists from all over Europe and the world. The accommodation, restaurants, and shops are mostly family-run, and the village has retained its traditional character and charm.
